SMS Terms and Privacy

SMS Terms and Conditions
What we send
LegeOnline is an online medical clinic. When you submit a consultation request on legeonline.no or in the LegeOnline app and enter your mobile number, we send text messages about that request:
- one-time passcodes and secure links for opening your case
- a notice that the doctor has replied or that your assessment is ready
- confirmations and reminders for video and phone appointments
- a reminder if a request you started is waiting for payment
We send no marketing by text message, and the messages contain no health information.
How you opt in
You opt in by entering your mobile number in the consultation form. The form states, directly below the phone field, that we will text you about your case. Opting in to text messages is not a condition of receiving care: every notification is also sent by e-mail.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies with the activity in your case. A typical case produces 1 to 5 messages.
Cost
LegeOnline does not charge for text messages. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
Opt out
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving text messages from LegeOnline. All further notifications are then sent by e-mail only.
Help
Reply HELP to any message, e-mail kontakt@legeonline.no or call +47 955 26 967.
Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
SMS Privacy Policy
We use your mobile number only to send the messages described above.
No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party. Your number is passed to our SMS delivery provider (Strex, Norway) and to the mobile carriers solely to deliver the message.
How we process all other personal data, how long we keep it, and your rights under the GDPR are described in our terms and privacy policy (in Norwegian).
