Answer a few questions

The sample kit arrives by post
A doctor reviews your answers and sends you the sample kit with a prepaid return envelope and instructions.

Take the sample and send it
Clip and scrape material from the nail as the instructions show, put it in the sample tube and post the prepaid envelope.

Results and treatment
The result appears on My page (Min Side). The doctor explains it and recommends treatment – this is included in the price.
We can help with
- ✓ Suspected fungal infection in toenails or fingernails
- ✓ A test that confirms or rules out fungus before treatment
- ✓ Treatment based on the test result – nail lacquer, cream or tablets
- ✓ A new test when treatment has not worked
We can NOT help with
- ✗ Children under 16
- ✗ Red, swollen and tender skin around the nail with fever – contact legevakt (116 117)
- ✗ A foot wound that won't heal if you have diabetes – contact your GP (fastlege)
- ✗ Vaginal thrush and fungal skin infections – separate service: Yeast infection
