Which vaccines do you need before your trip?
Get a personal recommendation from a doctor based on your destination, the length of your trip and your health. Assessment for more than 180 countries, including malaria prevention.
How it works
- Fill in the consultation — you answer a few questions about your health and vaccination history.
- A doctor assesses — a doctor reviews your answers and gives you a personal recommendation, usually within 1–2 hours.
- Vaccines are given at the pharmacy — you pay for the vaccines separately when you collect them.
What does it cost?
You collect the vaccines at a pharmacy once the doctor has sent your e-prescription. Vaccine prices vary.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need vaccines for my trip?
It depends on your destination, how long you stay, what you will do there and your health. The Norwegian Institute of Public Health (FHI) keeps its travel advice per country up to date — we follow these recommendations in the assessment.
How long before the trip should I order?
Most vaccines give the best protection 2–4 weeks after the last dose, and some need a series of several doses. Order your consultation at least 4–6 weeks before you leave when you can.
What do I get for 379 NOK?
You get a thorough assessment from a doctor, a personal recommendation and an e-prescription where relevant. You pay for the vaccines themselves separately at the pharmacy.
Where do I get the vaccines?
The vaccines are given at a pharmacy once the doctor has sent your e-prescription. This also applies to the yellow fever vaccine — if you need a yellow fever certificate (ICVP), we issue it afterwards.
Can I get a yellow fever certificate (ICVP)?
Yes. We can issue the international certificate of vaccination for yellow fever for an extra 329 NOK. If the yellow fever vaccine is relevant for your trip, you can tick the add-on directly in your order — and we sort out the certificate once you have had the vaccine. You can also wait and let us know after vaccination. If you are already vaccinated but are missing or have lost the certificate, you can order the yellow fever certificate (ICVP) separately.
