Frequently asked questions
Under the absence rules that apply from the 2024/25 school year, you can document health-related absence yourself with self-certification (egenmelding) for up to 10% of the lessons in a subject – then you do not need a certificate from a doctor. A medical certificate is only needed when your health-related absence in a subject goes over the 10% limit. So check your absence in the subject before you order: if you are under the limit, you probably do not need a certificate from us, and we do not want you to pay for something you have no use for.
