A video consultation is arranged as part of the assessment
- After you submit the consultation, the doctor contacts you to arrange a video consultation
- A video consultation is needed for the medical assessment of weight loss – it cannot be assessed in writing alone
- You will need blood tests before starting – we send a referral after the consultation
- BMI over 30 (or over 27 with a weight-related condition) is usually required for medical treatment
- In most cases weight-loss medicines are not covered by the blue prescription scheme (blå resept) – the cost of the medicine comes on top
- Follow-up consultations: 379 NOK each
- Interpretation of test results can be booked as a separate test-result follow-up for 299 NOK – you agree this with the doctor
